Social Indicators – The Tie
Vertex has teamed up with The Tie to bring you Social Indicators on Vertex! This new feature allows you to tap into social sentiment data directly from the Vertex app. Now, you can gauge market sentiment by tracking how the community is reacting to various assets across socials. This integration brings a powerful new tool to your trading arsenal, helping you make more informed decisions based on social signals.
Clusters
More account personalization has come to Vertex with the integration of Clusters, an omni-chain name service that lets you create personalized, easy-to-remember identities across multiple blockchains. With Clusters, you can simplify your trading experience by managing all your assets under a single, unique name.
This integration means your clusters will automatically populate when you connect your wallet to the Vertex app, enhancing your multi-chain identity.

NotiFi & Coinbase Wallet Notifications Update
Following our integration with Notifi last year, we are excited to announce a brand new update! Not only is Notifi now supported on Vertex Mantle and Blitz on Blast, but now brings real-time updates straight to your Coinbase Wallet. Stay on top of your trading game with instant notifications for your transactions, positions, and more, all within the Vertex app - you’ll never miss a beat with this new feature!
Referral Program Updates
The current Referral Program will undergo some updates beginning on Thursday, September 5th, 2024 at 17:00 UTC.
The incoming changes will prevent accounts from attempting to game the program, primarily via self-referrals, which are not in the spirit of the program and reduce the incentive for retail users to participate.
The following short-term changes will go into effect on Thursday, September 5th 2024 until a larger upgrade to the referral program is implemented:
API Restrictions: Rate-enabled API users will not qualify for the referral program.
Maximum Referral Value Caps: A $5K maximum cap on referral value per account (e.g., earnings associated with any referral cannot exceed $5K).
The short-term update is intended to mitigate self-referrals while additional updates to the referral program are considered for a larger upgrade later. These include elements that encourage more retail adoption and provide pathways for regular users to climb the commission tiers.
We’ll continue to iterate on the referral program’s design to ensure it reflects the original aim of inviting more retail users to Vertex. In large part, this means rewarding existing users that refer newcomers more generously and effectively.

We are excited to introduce Vertex to another ecosystem in September… but before we share the next deployment, we’d like to know where you want to see Vertex Edge deploy next!
